SCHOTT's LF5 Lead Crystal optical glass is a versatile light flint glass 35% lead glass that works excellently for both coldworking and casting. It has a higher refractive index than a soda lime glass that gives it more sparkle and depth by comparison. It melts very nicely so it easily fills out molds and has a coefficient of expansion of 106. 

SCHOTT's LF5 is not generally compatible with most flameworking glass.

Sheets are generally 610mm long and 204mm wide (24" x 8") with varying thicknesses. Lengths are approximate.
