S8 is among the clearest glasses used for encasements as a result of a closely controlled manufacturing process that ensures S8's consistency from batch to batch.

S8 gobs or 'pucks' are world re-knowned for their quality and are used by the top paperweight, marble and bead artists in the world. We here at His Glassworks are very proud to be able to offer these gobs for your own art work. Gobs are available in 150 gram weight, 400 gram weight and 750 gram weights. They are available both as single gobs and in tray groupings for better pricing and production use. Trays are available in lots of 50 for the 150 gram gobs, lots of 20 for the 400 gram gobs and lots of 16 for the 750 gram gobs.
