With the LP66 material being a "closed pore" system, you might find that your pad can get "glazed over" with too much cerium. In order to get your pad running to it's optimal precision polish again, you may need to open up the pores.
The best thing to do that is a diamond dresser. The diamonds are locked into place on the dresser so there's no fear of contaimination of your LP pad. Just turn on your wheel, get some water running and use the diamond dresser from the center to the edge of the wheel to unclog your LP disk.
The same method can be used with the Polpur Lapi-T wheels for dressing and shaping the wheels and for maintaining curvature.
