Following after the 3M 1 inch diamond disks, these small smoothing pads make an excellent finishing step for any small area that you need to work on. Manufactured from the same material as our larger smoothing pads, these small pads are mainly used for removal of small blemishes on the glass or for finishing areas ground with the 1" 3M diamond disks. They will not remove large quantities of glass, so please don't expect them to. They are excellent at what they do though. The 1" kit contains three 220 grit smoothing pads, three 325 grit smoothing pads, three 600 grit smoothing pads, three cerium impregnated disks and one 1" mandrel. The disks are velcro backed and are easily attached to the provided mandrel. Changing grits is as easy as detaching the previous grit and attaching a new one to the velcro mandrel. Be sure to use water will all the diamond grits and especially with the cerium impregnated pads for polishing.
