The LP material is a breakthrough in long running, low heat polishing material. The material is impregnated with a polishing compound but will still require usage with Cerium Oxides. The LP material runs cools on the glass which allows more pressure and longer runs on polishing without the worry of heat buildup and breakage. The material stands up to wear to an amazing degree; outlasting the Synthetic felt material by two to three times the life! The one thing to be aware of with the LP material is its long break-in period. Ususally it takes two to three weeks of moderate use to get the pad running to its optimum performance. Don't be dismayed if initially it takes longer to polish a piece. Once the pad is charged well and broken in, it will polish like a dream.
