These core drills are durable and long-lasting due to their brazed diamond surface. Brazing is similar to electroplating, but concentrates more diamond in a more stable matrix onto the tool. Not quite as durable and efficient at the sintered diamond drills, these drills can be chucked directly into a drill press or hand held drill. As with all diamond tools you need to use water at all times, both to protect the tool and your piece.
