Due to the nature of elevation and where the scales are shipped from and to, many of the DW100AX scales will appear to not function when you first open them up and try to use them.

Normally the scales just needs to be calibrated. The first calibration method is actually listed on the sheet of paper that comes with the scales. That method entails holding down the tare and mode button at the same time. If that does not work, then try  pressing the mode button, then the on/off button and following the calibration steps.

This should get your scale working for your location. If both calibration methods fail, then just give us a call and we'll arrange a replacement.
