Our 4 inch diameter base resin diamond smoothing domes are used for grinding slight bevels into the inside lips of open ended glass vessels or for pre-polishing bevels created with electroplated diamond domes. Dome are available in multiple mounting methods. Please choose your mounting method when ordering.

I’m looking for dome to grind & polish the interior surface of fused larger glass bowls. I have a Glastar Model B12 - 12" Diamond Disc / w Magnetic Holder P33506. I see this product naturally attached to the Covington. My idea is to use my bonding agent to attach your dome to an old used disc. Do you have any thought on this idea, or can you suggest another product? Thanks very much for your time.
It would probably work well to attach to an old disk to work on the B12. Sounds like a good idea to me. Just make sure you get it centered on the disk well before bonding it.

What is the smallest opening you’d recommend using this on ?
It's hard to say with the dome. You can feasibly go as small as you want, but the bevel will be very shallow the smaller you go.
