Hello, Is this disc suitable for cutting a bottle of wine to make glasses? I currently have a good record but I find that there is a lot of asperities and broken glass edge, it is difficult to catch up then. Merci Romain

The Superlok blades are the best blades we have for bottle cutting without moving to a resin diamond blade, but even with the fine grit diamond on this blade it will be a more aggressive cut at a 14 inch blade because the Surface Foot per Minute on the rim of the blade is extremely fast. These blades work best in 10 inch diameter and below. You can look into slowing down your saw to mitigate the faster moving blade in the 14 inch size and it will help with the excess chipping and breakage. Also, dressing the blade with a dressing stick more often will help as the diamonds wear down faster on fine grit blades.
