is there a cheater function so you can adjust your first facet how you wish before locking in to the 45 or 30 degree format?
WHat if I want to do a few random facets that do not fall into the 30 or 45 degree ranges? Can I just clamp it at a random angle?

For changing the facet angle, the entire drum loosens and turn and then you lock it back in place. You could, theoretically, keep the drum loose and clamp it at a random angle instead or completely remove the angle head and clamp it in place.
