Our Morse 3 taper stainless steel spindle is custom made for Spatzier or Merker style lathes that utilize a Morse 3 taper for mounting spindles. The end is made for use with most modern style wheels with a 1 inch arbor hole standard in the wheel. Some Spatzier cutting lathes have a deeper throat on the shaft and will require a spindle with a longer taper. These tapers measure
- Stainless steel spindle accomodates all wheels with 1 inch arbor hole
- End plug accomodates wheels with a 1/2 inch arbor hole
- Spindle fit into any lathe that accepts Morse 3 tapered spindles such as Spatzier and Merker lathes
