Covington's professional glass lathe is the perfect replacement for the no longer available Spatzier lathes. With a 12 inch long shaft and Morse 3 taper, this lathe will accept all spindles from the large Spatzier cutting lathes. The 1 HP DC motor provides fantastic torque even at slower speeds and with the integrated variable speed motor controller, you have speeds available from 0 to 1850RPM at the simple twist of a dial. The compact lathe requires only a table to bolt it to and a water supply and you're up and grinding or engraving in no time at all.
