Ball 0.08 Inch Tip 220 Grit Sintered Diamond Point with 3/32 Inch Shank
Sintered diamond points have a 3/32 inch steel shank and a shaped head that has diamond all the way through the head. This gives a longer lasting diamond point with a more consistent grinding finish each time you use it. You must be careful to use these points with water so you don't overheat the point head and destroy the diamond or strip it off the shaft.

is the 220 grit referring to grit size or grit density on the bit? Do I assume that 220 is finer than 120 or more coarse? If it's grit density, do you know about the grit size? Thank you!
This is the actual diamond grit on the point so the 220 is finer than the 120
- Sintered diamond points are hot form sintered diamond where the entire head of the point is all diamond for longevity and consistent cutting quality and surface appearance
- Points can be shaped and maintained using an aluminum oxide dressing stick to keep the point sharp
