Hurricane Helene and LA Wildfire Relief
Hurricane Helene tore through Western North Carolina with a force that no one was prepared for, leaving destruction and devastation in its wake that will take months, if not years, to recover from.
The artist community in Asheville and surrounding areas was particularly hard hit, with the River Arts District in Asheville receiving the brunt of the damage from the storm.
Areas from Asheville to Burnsville, to Marshall, and beyond have been radically altered, with lives and studios being shattered. The support and assistance will need to continue for much longer than the news cycle is willing to show you.

His Glassworks has always strived to support all the arts, particularly with organizations that assist artists worldwide and in our community. That effort is needed now more than ever with the devastation from Hurricane Helene and now the L.A. Wildfires that have destroyed so many homes and studios in CA.
With purchases of diamond disks from November and December of last year, you've helped raise over $10,000 for support of numerous organizations that help artists recover from these disasters.
Donation amounts were split between The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), The Center for Craft Futures Fund, and The River Arts District Helene Recovery Fund in November to mainly support relief from Hurricane Helene in our area of Western North Carolina. December donations all went to the Craft Emergency Relief Fund from CERF to help with relief both for Hurricane Helene and the LA wildfires.
Please also feel free to donate directly to these organizations to help artists in WNC and LA.
