The slurry conversion kit allows your diamond lap grinder to serve double duty as both a diamond lap and also a loose grit slurry grinder. Attach the post to the outside frame of your diamond lap with the included tap drill and you can easily mount and un-mount the slurry chute on your diamond lap.Â
The kit also comes with a 1/8 inch thick steel plate with magnetic backing for use with the loose grit so you don't grind into your diamond lap wheel head.
A great way to save shop space with a single grinder that can use both loose grit and diamonds.
Use the lowest speed setting on your variable speed diamond lap for use with loose grit slurry grinding. This kit will not work well with single speed grinders.
