Any recommendation for removing this from nooks and crannies? I haven't had great luck with CLR or vinegar. Thanks!

If you allow cerium oxide to dry in small areas, you really can't get it out without re-polishing the area. It's very, very important to wash pieces throughly while the cerium is still wet. If allowed to dry, it is almost impossible to remove it from small areas.
