I'm looking for a wheel for that my students could apply a wax/oil mixture to buff and seal a batuto surface with. Do you think this wheel would do the trick? It's none abrasive correct? Thank you.

Quite possibly. The brush wheels are most often used with pumice for battuto surfaces so it would definitley move into all the areas, but I've never tried it with an oil/wax mixture. I would recommend going slowly so it doesn't throw the mixture all over the shop.
