Is it possible to remove cured Hxtal from a glass piece and if so, how to do it safely for the glass?
The easiest way to remove a large joint of HXTAL is to heat the glass to around 500 degrees F. This will break down and burn off the HXTAL from the glass.
If you don't have access to a kiln for this process or the piece is too complex, we also offer an epoxy solvent called ATTACK. This material would need to soak the HXTAL joint over a long period to break it down.
HXTAL is very difficult to break down, and the ATTACK will take a long time to go through the joint.
