Is there a recommended max diameter that this blade can cut?

We recommend glass no thicker than 1/2 inch. Anything thicker and you'll bog down the blade and need to dress it quite often to keep it running well. For thicker material, we recommend the Result blades: https://www.hisglassworks.com/grinding-tools/blades/medium-cut-blades/result-blades.html
